Expanding our range of Opal yarns
We are pleased to announce that we have expanded the range of Opal Yarns available form ColoursofAmalfi. Opal yarn is very durable and made from 75% virgin wool (superwash) and 25% polyamide in a selection of vibrant and colourful shades. This collections are inspired by the artworks of the famous artists.This yarn is perfect for knitting warm socks with unique colour patterns, but it can of course also be used for sweaters, hats, gloves and scarves. One ball is enough for one pair of socks (up to size 46).
This 4-ply yarn is available in many different colour combinations. Washable up to 40°C. Recommended needle size is 2.50mm.

Opal Minis
We have also introduced sets of mini cakes which is great for making colourful granny squares blankets
Packs of 8x 20g cakes available for R395.
The yarn is 75% Wool and 25% Nylon. If you want to create a blanket of 130 squares you need about 24x20g cakes with a 2.75mm crochet hook.
